Established on the night of the full moon, October 6, 2017, in Gion, Kyoto.
The name "komorebi" is a Japanese word that describes the beautiful sight of sunlight filtering through the leaves of trees. In Japan, where forests cover two-thirds of the land, people have lived in harmony with nature since ancient times. This word carries a poetic depth, evoking feelings of peace, calm, and kindness.
Our name, komorebino, is a playful creation. In Japanese, "no" signifies possession (meaning "of"). By combining them, we created a sound where "bino" mirrors the Italian word for wine, "vino."
Our interior is designed to evoke the serenity of "moonlight filtering through the trees." We invite you to slow down, breathe, and let time flow by.
Please, enjoy the moment with a natural heart.
